Things you should know before having 755nm laser hair removal:

You can’t pluck, dye or wax the hair

Before your first session, avoid waxing, plucking, threading and bleaching for at least four weeks. The laser needs to be able to identify the follicle, so hold off on your usual routine if it involves removing hair from the root.

Avoid sunbathing

Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to your treatment. Sunbathing makes your body more sensitive to heat, which in turn increases the possibility of burns and hyperpigmentation.

Avoid perfumes, deodorant, and lotions

Do not apply any moisturizing agents to the treated areas the day of your treatment as this can interfere with the laser’s ability to destroy hair follicles. The skin should also be cleaned thoroughly prior to your appointment.
